Biography

Lin Zhang is Associate Professor at McGill's School of Urban Planning, where she leads the Geospatial Intelligence Lab. Her research focuses on applying deep learning to satellite image analysis, automatic land use change detection and urban expansion prediction. Her publications in Nature Cities and Science of the Total Environment have been cited over 2,000 times.
